| A | With rapid advancements in automotive technology, the LTA regularly reviews the technical requirements that are imposed on vehicles, taking into account public feedback and suggestions. This is to ensure technical requirements are relevant and in-line with international practices. The rear side windows will enhance drivers' safety; drivers will be able to see better particularly when changing lanes, making turns or reversing into parking lots.
In addition, removing the partition will allow workers to escape through the front doors, in addition to the rear hatch door and side doors of the vehicle, in the event of an accident.
